about

Finding Rhythms was founded in 2012 by Robin Harris and Emily Vermont. Our aim is to create a more engaged, positive and employable generation of prisoners… through music.

The album One Day Too Long was written and recorded in just 36 hours by a group of ten men at the category C prison, HMP The Mount. All tracks were written by the group and put to music collectively with the help of Creative Director, Robin Harris; Project Leader, Ben Henry Edwards; music engineer, Will Worsley and five guest musicians.

Nine participants worked towards the BTEC certificate ‘Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness’. All of them passed.
